Poster Sessions & Travel Grants
The SRCOS 2014 Summer Research Conference will host two poster sessions.
The first poster session, the ASA/Kutner Faculty Invited Paper and Poster Session (box lunch) will be held
on Monday, June 2, 2014, from 12:10-1:30pm.
The second poster session, the NSF/Anderson Student Poster Session (box lunch) will be held
on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 12:10-2:00pm.
Mike Kutner Faculty Poster Session
Partial travel awards are available to junior or isolated faculty presenting posters. To present a poster and apply for a travel award submit your title, abstract and cv here by May 01, 2014.

Student Poster Competition
Student attendees are encouraged to participate in the contributed poster session sharing their research with the other conference participants. Posters in any area of statistical methodology and applications are welcome. Student posters will be entered in a competition for the Clint Miller best poster award and R. L. Anderson poster awards. Awards will be determined by an anonymous panel of judges and announced at the Tuesday evening banquet.

SRCOS will award on a competitive basis a number of Boyd Harshbarger travel awards to graduate students presenting a poster. To apply for a student travel award please complete the online form. The application deadline is April 18, 2014. For questions please contact Ed Boone (elboone@vcu.edu).
The following information is requested on the online form for student travel award applications.
- A letter from the student’s researcher advisor or Department Chair
- A copy of the paper or an extended abstract, and
- A short abstract in MS Word format.
- A copy of the applicant’s CV
